Reincarnation or Resonance? The Hard Truth Behind Past-Life Claims

I hear a lot of claims that people are the reincarnation of famous figures, and while it’s an intriguing idea, there are deeper layers to explore when it comes to reincarnation and the energy of historical personalities.

Souls that have evolved into 4th or 5th density, for example, don’t usually return to Earth once they’ve surpassed the need for the “karmic” lessons associated with lower-density environments.

Having already outgrown what Earth offers in terms of growth, they usually don’t reincarnate here unless for a specific purpose, like assisting humanity or guiding shifts in consciousness. These entities know that in order to support us it is not necessary for them to be here in the flesh. And at a soul level, we know this too.

Most often, when someone feels a strong connection to a historical figure, it’s more about tapping into humanity’s collective consciousness rather than being the actual reincarnation of that individual. The energy of such figures doesn’t just vanish; it remains in the collective field, accessible to those who can attune to it. In the Law of One, Ra describes this collective consciousness as a shared energetic field that holds the vibrations and lessons of all beings, accessible by anyone who raises their frequency to align with it. What might be happening is a strong resonance with a particular energetic signature or vibrational blueprint of that person’s consciousness, still present in the broader human experience, or collective field.

This doesn’t mean the experience isn’t meaningful. Not at all. It suggests that the connection might be with the person’s energetic imprint instead of being that individual. Feeling a deep connection to figures like Edgar Cayce, Mary Magdalene, or Jesus could indicate an alignment with the vibrational blueprint they left behind. Human consciousness is multi-dimensional, so these energetic imprints are always accessible to all of us, regardless of time.

This leads me to an interesting observation: most people who claim to be reincarnations of historical figures don’t claim to be those with dark, harmful, or service-to-self actions. It’s rare to hear someone say they were Hitler or Ted Bundy in a past life. Reincarnation isn’t about coming back to settle “karmic debts”. Karma is just a reaction to action. Reincarnation is about the soul’s evolution, which can take many forms — often in ways we don’t expect, and in ways that bypass humanity’s ability to fully conceptualise.

While the energy of historical figures might still be felt, it doesn’t mean we were them. And by understanding reincarnation from this broader perspective, we can see that these feelings of connection often reflect a resonance with their energetic patterns rather than a literal past life. This helps us approach past life experiences with greater discernment and appreciation for the complexity of soul growth.

Our energetic connections reflect a larger truth in that we all have access to the wisdom and vibrational signatures of those who have walked before us, and we are constantly evolving through our connection to the greater collective field.
