Authority in Disguise – RED FLAGS & MANIPULATION

Here are some things I’ve personally witnessed from a so-called “spiritual professional” in the community. I hope that these indicators can help empower you to trust your intuition and choose teachers who honor your growth, not control it.

Sharing unverifiable “wisdom” with total confidence, claiming it as the ONLY truth, and discouraging critical thought.

Using cliche, pseudo-esoteric jargon that makes questioning things difficult without sounding “unenlightened.”

Reframing your intuition or doubts as “resistance”, “low vibration”, or “trauma”.

If you disagree or question something, they will claim you’re “not ready,” “too egoic,” or “3D-minded.”

Weaponising spiritual language to invalidate your natural instincts (a verified control tactic).

Encouraging dependency on their version of truth, rather than your own personal discernment.

Positioning themself as the sole or elite authority. Implying that only they have access to certain knowledge or dimensions, and that they are THE only official representative.

Discouraging independent research by making others feel less evolved or ignorant.

Using spiritual hierarchy to imply superiority.

Projecting separation through an energetic caste system, where people with trauma or illness are “less evolved”.

Claiming that those on the spectrum or those with mental illness have “black third eyes,” — which is completely misaligned with Law of One material (Ra and Q’uo both emphasise compassion and healing, not judgment). Mental illness is not a spiritual failing. It is the result of intense catalyst in this incarnation, sometimes due to the soul’s desire for accelerated growth. There is no judgment, only love, acceptance, and the opportunity for healing.

Framing themself as “clear” or “untainted,” subtly reinforcing a power imbalance.

Invalidating emotional experiences.

Avoiding personal responsibility by spiritualising their actions.

Pushing expensive paid services and exclusive retreats tied to spiritual purity, or initiations that are framed as necessary “activations.”

Distorting complex materials like the Law of One or esoteric wisdom to fit personal narratives.

Friendship/relationship is conditional and based on your agreement, loyalty, or usefulness to them.

Pushing transcendence over integration.

Creating esoteric dependence, ie. if you don’t understand their cosmic lingo, you’re “missing something important” or have “misinformation”.

Sharing private or sensitive information about other people under the guise of “truth-telling” or “warning the collective.” Then justifying it by claiming “higher knowledge” or “psychic insight” into someone’s vibration or past lives — which is manipulation in disguise. If someone needs to expose others to elevate themselves, they’re not in service, they’re in ego.

Belittling others’ intelligence, vibration, or spiritual maturity behind closed doors, using mockery, sarcasm, or judgmental language to assert superiority.

Describing people as “possessed,” “infected,” “programmed,” or “NPCs” with no compassion or care. These phrases weaponise spiritual concepts to avoid accountability for just being unkind. Atacking someone while pretending it’s a higher truth is spiritual gaslighting.

Trying to turn followers or friends against each other using subtle whispers or spiritualised slander. These tactics fragment communities, not unify them.

Authentic teachers might offer discernment or warnings when truly needed, but they do it with compassion, not malice, and keep the other person’s dignity in mind.

Dismissing or labeling other spiritual teachers or channelers as “fake” simply because their information differs. This is a red flag for spiritual arrogance and control. Genuine seekers can hold space for differing truths without needing to discredit others.

These behaviors are not signs of spiritual mastery, they are red flags for control, ego, and manipulation.

A true spiritual teachers will empower your sovereignty, not your submission. Trust your intuition, do your own research, and don’t be afraid to walk away from anyone who makes you feel small or tries to manipulate you.

This is thorough, hitting nail after nail on the head, and delivered with the authority of that fractal trinity wherein agency, hammer and nail are all one. Thank you.
